Metabolomic techniques and their application: from Robert Burns to metabolic flux in cells 






Karl provided a history of his engagement with and an introduction to metabolomics, as well as a history of the technical developments in his lab and Glasgow Polyomics. He used the identification of Robert Burns' documents as an illustration of the power of this technique to help verify originality damage free. He also showcased the highly successful collaboration between his group, Polyomics and the Dalby group. Ending on a timeseries analysis of extra- and intracellular metabolite changes over time accessed at 4min intervals. 

So early at Edinburgh that he has yet to set up a webpage for the group...
